OVERVIEW
Delivero offers an all-in-one last-mile delivery platform that covers everything from scheduling to routing to asset management.
Utilizing interviews, journey mapping, prototyping, and a series of hands-on user tests, we were able to deliver UX designs that greatly simplified workflows for key user groups. By streamlining key processes and revamping the user interface, we lowered the amount of time required to book services by as much 20%, and the amount of time drivers were required to interact with the app by as much as 40%. This enabled increased productivity for both dispatchers and drivers, and boosted safety metrics as drivers were able to focus on the road instead of the app.
Our work with Delivero started with identifying the unique roles of different users and outlining their work flows. From there we were able to create journey maps for individual users, pinpointing each users' actions and painpoints as they use the app.
Keeping this in mind, we were able to begin prototyping the various functionalities and start getting feedback from actual users. With each iteration, we would conduct further tests to ensure that we were meeting users' needs in the easiest and most efficient manner.
Working for an industry where every second counts, we knew our designs for Delivero needed to focus on clean, easy-to-use layouts and recognizable iconography. Bright, bold color palettes and efficient use of whitespace were used to immediately draw users' attention to critical details.
We carried these ideas over to the logo, where crisp lines, smooth curves, and easy-to-understand imagery quickly conveys the purpose the app.
